Ingredients
2Bananas
10Datespitted
¾CupPeanut Butter
2CupsChocolate Chipsmelted
1TeaspoonSalt
Instructions
We will first make the date caramel. Blend the pitted dates, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ¼ cup of peanut butter in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy. This mixture will male the caramel layer, and in my opinion, can’t be beat!
I like to use a silicone mold, but a lined muffin tin will work fine as well.
Add a thin layer of melted chocolate to the bottom of each mold section, and gently swirl it to cover the base evenly.
Place a slice of banana on top of the chocolate layer in each mold. Then, spoon a dollop of the date caramel on top of the banana slice, followed by a small scoop of peanut butter.
Pour a layer of melted chocolate over each section to seal in the layers. Give the mold a gentle shake to ensure the chocolate coats each bite evenly.
Place the mold in the freezer for at least 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set. Once firm, pop each bite out of the mold and enjoy your homemade Banana Snickers with Date Caramel!
