Ingredients You’ll Need to Make This Whipped Feta

  • 8 Ounces Feta Cheese block or crumbles
  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Pistachios

How to Make It

Making the best whipped feta dip is really simple, and is an easy process. In a matter of minutes, you can prepare a dish that’s not only pretty but is the perfect combo of flavors.

Whip the Ingredients

I suggest using a food processor for this recipe. If you don’t have one, a blender will work perfectly. Add the feta, honey, garlic, and pistachios to the food processor & blend! You may need to stop the food processor and scrape the sides mid-blend to be sure everything gets evenly blended. Let the food processor do it’s magic until the cheese has a smooth and velvet-like consistency. It’s that’s easy!

Serving Suggestions

Transfer the whipped feta onto a small plate or to a shallow bowl. Drizzle honey in a circle pattern over the feta and use a spoon to spread it. I think this makes it look more beautiful when serving! Garnish the whipped feta cheese dip with pistachios, and a sprinkle of black pepper!

I couldn’t just stop at honey and pistachios so I had to give you more ideas for toppings + pairings! Honey whipped feta goes amazingly with many different flavors.

First, let’s talk toppings! Of course the honey and pistachios is my go-to, but I love changing it up here and there. Some of my favorite garnishes include—roasted olives, walnuts, fig jam, roasted tomatoes with basil, cranberries, blueberries, balsamic glaze, hot honey, or roasted chickpeas. All of these are really fun ways to mix up this recipe. Now let’s talk pairings!

Whipped feta is a dip that can enhance many dishes. It’s a delightful addition to sandwiches, charcuterie boards, toast, soups, eggs, it’s even an amazing topping for freshly roasted veggies like roasted carrots or roasted potatoes. Frequently Asked Questions?

How to Store Whipped Feta with Honey?

While it’s unlikely that there will be any leftovers, if you happen to have a bit of this delicious masterpiece remaining, it can be stored for at least 3 days. Be sure to wrap it well with plastic wrap or store in a plastic container. Keep it chilled in the fridge until you’re ready to enjoy again.

Can I make this recipe without a food processor?

Yes! If you don’t have a food processor, a blender will work perfectly.

Can I add yogurt to this recipe?

Yes, feel free to use yogurt in this recipe If you’re looking for a more yogurt-like consistency over the consistency of a cheese dip. Keep in mind, it will make the dip a little thinner. If you decide to add yogurt I’d suggest adding 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt into the food processor and blend with all of the other ingredients!

Can I make this with cream cheese?

Yes! Another cheese that pairs wonderfully with feta. If you want to add cream cheese to this recipe, simply add 4 oz. of cream cheese to the food processor and blend with all of the other ingredients! This will make this dip milder and more calorie dense.
